    Craig Murphy describes how XForms overcomes the limitations of simplistic HTML forms, allowing a single form definition to be rendered in a variety of different devices, whether ‘rendering’ means displaying visually or converting into speech (vocalisation).

  • Action Band Extensions
    Erik van Bilsen focuses on three aspects of action bands. First, he explains how you can create custom colour maps, action bars and action controls, to create new visual styles. Along the way, he uncovers a limitation of action bars, preventing us from placing arbitrary controls on a toolbar. A custom action type comes to the rescue in this case. Finally, Erik examines another, sometimes more serious, limitation: the lack of support for form inheritance in TActionManager.
